Eeyore was silent for a moment. "Am I okay?" he asked, eventually. "Well, I don't know, to be honest. Are any of us really okay? That's what I ask myself. All I can tell you, Pooh and Piglet, is that right now I feel really rather Sad, and Alone, and Not Much Fun To Be Around At All. Which is why I haven't bothered you. Because you wouldn't want to waste your time hanging out with someone who is Sad, and Alone, and Not Much Fun To Be Around At All, would you now."

Pooh looked at Piglet, and Piglet looked at Pooh, and they both sat down, one on either side of Eeyore in his stick house.

Eeyore looked at them in surprise. "What are you doing?"

"We're sitting here with you," said Pooh, "because we are your friends. And true friends don't care if someone is feeling Sad, or Alone, or Not Much Fun To Be Around At All. True friends are there for you anyway. And so here we are."

"Oh," said Eeyore. "Oh." And the three of them sat there in silence, and while Pooh and Piglet said nothing at all; somehow, almost imperceptibly, Eeyore started to feel a very tiny little bit better.

Because Pooh and Piglet were There.

No more; no less.

Lindsay,

There should have been no deductible. I have 100% Behavior Health coverage. No out of pocket with a zero co-pay. I have a zero deductible for Behavior Health services. The reason they applied it toward my deductible is that you said that you filed the wrong contract information with BCBS of AZ for DR Wagner. Establishing him as out of network instead of in network as you told me when I came looking for help last year.

You told me that he was being contracted in-network and I would be fully reimbursed since I have a zero deductible and zero co-pay. There is no out of pocket for me for Behavior Health Services. Which I am getting from another organization now.

Making all of this your organizations fault or you in particular.

Have your biller contact me. I have attached a copy of my insurance card. Once they see look up my benefits they will see the 100% coverage for Behavior Health with the zero cop-pay and no deductible to meet. You should have a copy on file. You know this.

Lindsay you were my point of contact and you gave me all the wrong information and took my money. You need to make this right.

We provide clinical & forensic assessment & therapy services in a confidential outpatient setting. Hours are by appointment only and vary by provider.

Contact a team member to schedule an appointment.

It takes a Village to raise a child. Tucson’s a big city with a close community feel. Looking out for your neighbors may be as simple as paying attention. Kids don’t always know when something they’re experiencing could be different or better or safer. They trust those around them to keep them safe. That kiddo who comes to school smelling and in the same clothes might not have them. The one who is staring off into space or falling asleep might just have no bed. The child who steals someone else’s lunch could be hungry. The bully who hits may be reenacting. The answer isn’t always simple. It takes courage to DO SOMETHING. But if only one person noticed and that person was you, and each person was a You, what might things be like?

Ideas to help: Find resources for a family in need, volunteer in your community, notice those around you and take part, donate money, go through your closet and donate that which is lonely or is collecting dust....Sometimes just a smile will do.

And if you see a child who you think might be suffering from abuse or neglect, DO SOMETHING. It’s NOT your job to investigate. It IS your job to speak up.

To make a child abuse report call: 888-SOS-CHILD (767-2445).

For social service resources go to: www.211arizona.org

And remember: If YOU’RE afraid to speak up, how might a younger, smaller, person who may be dependent on an abuser for their livelihood feel?

DO SOMETHING
